Facebook and Its Usage Pattern, a Case Study of Students at Central University of Kashmir

The life is changing ever so fast and people are connected to each other in a much different way .Social Websites are also helping people remain connected with their near and dear ones. There are number of social websites including the famous www.facebook.com, Twitter, Whatsap, Wechat etc. It may be helping people a lot but there are whooping drawbacks and serious issues as well .As mentioned above there are number of such social websites but this study is limited to only Facebook and its objective is to analyze how people perceive Facebook as Social Netework and what is its impact on consumer .The population for the study has been the students of Zainakote campus Central University of Kashmir. The study has shown that people mostly use facebook for flirting purpose or to enjoy with their close friends.

Facilitation and Support as Factor Affecting Motivation of Market

During the last decade, theoretical and empirical researches have indicated that organizational facilitation and support as a process occurs in various sites and situations, and it should not viewed from only economic-profit perspective. The importance and growth of the products and services reviewed that it is expanding globally. Furthermore, researchers believe that the primary objective of the corporate organizational facilitation and support is creation of dynamism, competitive structure and culture. Facilitation and support -management behavior in organizations regarded as a tool for organizations' growth and profitability, strategic innovation, organizational and customer- oriented changes. This article attempts to explain the facilitation and support plan management by pasterns of thinking. The importance of strategic, long-term policy and facilitation and support plan management is very clear to planners. Facilitation and support managers like to follow a similar and routine facilitation and support behavioral pattern.

Supervisor Status, Health and Organizational Commitment: Mediating Role of Support and Family-friendly Policies among Information Technology Professionals in India

The purpose of this investigation was to examine the relationship between supervisor status on employees’ health and organizational commitment as well as to assess the mediating role of supervisor support and the availability and use of family-friendly policies among Information Technology (IT) professionals in India. Using snowball technique, 359 IT professionals were surveyed from four cities in South and Western India. Structural equation modeling was done and in the initial model, supervisor status was related to organizational commitment, but not employees’ health. The non-significant path was removed and the mediating variables were then included in the model. The model fit improved and was determined to be a good fit to the data. Supervisor status directly impacted two of the mediating variables - supervisor support and employees’ knowledge of family-friendly policies. The direct impact of supervisor status on employees’ organizational commitment was partially mediated by supervisor support. Moreover, supervisor support also directly impacted employees’ knowledge of family-friendly policies and employees’ organizational commitment. Employees’ knowledge of family-friendly policies directly impacted employees’ use of family-friendly policies and indirectly mediated the impact of supervisor status on employees’ use of family-friendly policies and the impact of supervisor support on policy use. Employees’ use of family-friendly policies directly and positively impacted employees’ health, and indirectly mediated the impact of employees’ knowledge of family-friendly policies on employees’ health.
