A Proposed Management Response Framework for Competitive Advantage Based On Knowledge Growth

The main aim of this paper is to propose management response framework to analyze the effects of knowledge growth on services and products competitive advantages. The proposed framework is developed based on literature review of knowledge growth and competitive advantage value chain. The proposed framework validated through brainstorming technique using questionnaire and practical example of knowledge in business organizations. The significant findings showed that knowledge growth benefits could be analyzed based on two stages which are effect of knowledge growth on businesses operations and the relation between business operations improvements and competitive advantages enhancing.

Study of Parameters Affecting Employee Satisfaction

The aim of the study is to measure employee satisfaction at three different branches of Reliance Life Insurance viz. Karol Bagh, Jhandewalan and Connaught Place, and to analyze which branch needs to work upon which parameters. The study also analyzes whether Rewards and Recognition play an important role in determining overall employee satisfaction. It is a descriptive research. The sample size is 90. Non Comparative Scaling Technique has been used in the study. The study shows that rewards and recognition play a very significant role in determining employee satisfaction. The overall Employee Satisfaction can be said as relatively on the positive side for all the three branches. The employees of Jhandewalan branch show less inclination towards rewards and recognition programme as compared to other two branches. Rewards and recognition play a very significant role in determining employee satisfaction. This also proves that employees are extremely motivated when it comes to such recognition programmes.

The Antecedent and Consequence of Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of transformational leadership on organizational commitment, job satisfaction and performance of servants. Design of this study using survey method with data collection in cross-section through a questionnaire. The sampling is done via stratified random sampling using 197 servants. Analysis of the data used in testing hypothesis is Structural Equation Modeling. Results of the study provide evidence that transformational leadership significantly affect the increase organizational commitment and job satisfaction. However, a good transformational leadership is not able to improve the performance of servants if it is not supported by organizational commitment and high job satisfaction. Organizational commitment and job satisfaction act as complete mediation in explaining the effect of transformational leadership on servant’s performance.
