The investigation of labor market and employment problems has a protracted history and still remains to be the problem under study. Such a stable attention toward the labor market and employment sphere problems can be explained by numerous of factors, some of which have a long-living history and some of which come on or show themselves or become a subject of re-examination and new commitment along the society development process. So, each stage of economic and social development and each stage of scientific progress calls to some kind of a particular approaches toward the labor market issues.

The Special Issue “Labor Market: the actual problems of theory and practice” aims to define what problems face labor market today and find the ways for their overcoming; to determine the new approaches for Labor Market investigation and allow for discussion on current issues of Labor Market theory and practice.

The objectives of Special Issue are Labor Market actors – employers, employees, unemployed workers, government, firms, – and results (past, current and prospective) of their behavior, interrelationships and interactions.

The Special Issue constitutes a platform for exchange of views of the scientific community regarding Labor Market current problems and ways of their overcoming, to reflect the present status of Labor Market and trends of its development and scientific investigation by world scientific community, Labor Market problem estimation by practitioners.
